The second leg of the 2023 BSOP began in So Paulo after a stop in the Bahamas in January.
Anderson Marques won Event 3: R$500 NL Hold’em Super 500 after defeating 127 opponents in only a few hours. The guy from So Bernardo do Campo took home a whopping R$11,750 for his historic victory.
The next event, Event 4: R$1,200 PL Omaha Turbo, was won by a familiar face on the circuit. Thiago Grigoletti, a multi-discipline champion, defeated 94 opponents and won R$11,550.
On Thursday, October 30, the BSOP Sao Paulo will announce the winners of two further events. Visitors to the WTC Sheraton’s felts will also have the opportunity to participate in the Main Event and Mystery K.O. qualification rounds.
